Our team is made up of mechanical engineers, professionals who are driven by engineering curiosity and motivated by the desire to use their experience to successfully solve technical problems and bring them to application.
We specialize in the strength analysis of machines and machine structures for static and cyclic loads as well as dynamic conditions. Our calculations are based on proven numerical simulations, which are verified by experimental investigation of material properties and structural level behaviour as required. A part of our job is to verify the compliance with standards of the analysed structures and to document the results in a credible way to our partner and the inspection authority.
The safe operation of industrial equipment and machinery in general is determined by the interaction of its mechanical, thermal, fluid and electromagnetic subsystems and behaviour. Analysing such complex mechanisms of action analytically is not a viable practice. Therefore, numerical simulations are used to effectively predict the behaviour of the machine structure under operation conditions. In contrast to the experimental development method, simulations allow us to predict the behaviour of the structure under operating conditions from the beginning of the design phase. This means that the necessary development steps can be taken at an early stage, reducing development time and costs, which gives our partners a competitive advantage in the market.
By correctly choosing and professionally carrying out and evaluating the proper numerical simulations for a given engineering development, we ensure that the project goals are achieved in the most efficient way. Our experts work in a supportive team environment, combining their experience and avoiding the usual development dead-ends. We use the most prevalent software tools (ANSYS, Altair HyperWorks, Code Aster, OpenFoam) for the given engineering problem, combined with automated modelling and evaluation techniques to ensure reliable results, particularly in short timeframes. We are active members of NAFEMS, the international non-profit organisation for simulation engineers, and our experts regularly participate in conferences as speakers, and in training courses. We also take care to ensure that the expertise of our engineers is constantly growing and they remain competitive.
